Admissions
Turvey Pre-school is an excellent provision and we would be delighted to be able to offer your child a place here.
We offer spaces for children aged 2, 3 and 4 years of age.
We will try to offer places suited to you, your family and your child’s needs.
There are various funding options that you may be entitled to. Please see chart for what is on offer as of September 2025
From the term after your child is 3 years, we offer 15 hours of Universal Funded hours. These can be used over the week subject to availability.
For working parents, you may be eligible for 15 hours for your 2 year old or 30 hour funding for your 3 /4 year old. We can assist you with this, so please talk to us.

We also accept spaces for funded 2 year olds. There is eligibility criteria to claim 15 hours funded space.

Sessions and Fees
A £25 registration fee is charged for all new starters, payable before your child starts to confirm their place. It is refunded to you after your child has started or offset against fees.
The time your child spends at Pre-school is charged by the hour, where fees are payable, at a rate of £8.00 per hour for 2 year olds and £7.24 per hour for 3 and 4 year olds (from April 2026). This is reviewed annually.
We aim to offer flexibility with the range of sessions available – mornings, afternoons or all day. We are always happy to discuss how we can best meet your needs with regard to sessions for your child. We usually offer two available drop-off times in the morning (9am or 9.30am), for a session of either 2.5 hours or 3 hours. Afternoon sessions run from 12 noon until 3pm (this includes lunchtime). Please see timetable below for the various possibilities available to you.
Your child can attend an extra session or lunch on top of their regular attendance if wanted, eg if you have an appointment or change to work hours, provided we have space. To find out, ask a member of staff who can check and confirm if there is a place available and will book your child in for that session.
Uniform
Uniform at Turvey Preschool is optional, and all we ask is that children come to preschool in clothes which are comfortable, practical and you are happy to get paint and glue on! We do have our own Turvey Preschool uniform available for purchase.
