Back in 2019 Turvey Preschool with the greatest support from the Preschool families, Turvey Residents, businesses and the generosity of families further afield were able to Raise £90,000 to buy The Reading Room and secure our future.
We are still overwhelmed with the generosity and true support we received; it was absolutely amazing.
Now having the security of owning the building, we have the continuous task of maintaining the historic grade ii listed building. Damage was caused to our roof and the stonework earlier this year due to the storms which is one area of focus for us.
As a pre-school, we also want to ensure that we can offer our children a varied and broad range of resources to enhance their learning.
Therefore, our fundraising efforts will be continuous to ensure our preschool building is cherished and our children receive the greatest of experiences.
